F1 | Red Bull, Gasly's disappointment: "There were many opportunities, I didn't take advantage of them"

Disappointment for Pierre Gasly, who retired in the final moments of the German Grand Prix due to a contact with Albon. The Frenchman, however, after a first part of the race in close battle with Vettel, was unable to give that little extra to at least compete for a podium, given the car that found itself, once again in front of everyone with Verstappen as well as Zeltweg.

“It's been a totally crazy ride – Gasly said. The rain, the accidents, the Safety Cars and the pit stops made the Grand Prix a real lottery, and there were plenty of opportunities, so I'm very disappointed that I didn't make the most of the opportunities and didn't finish the race. Towards the end, I was fighting with Alex and we touched, which damaged my front wing which caused a puncture, so I had to stop the car. I don't know what to say, but it's annoying not to score points when there are these races: in these conditions everything is a gamble, you have to be lucky, but the pace was there, so we will continue to push next week in Hungary. It was fantastic for the team and Honda to win with Max, obtaining another decent number of points."
