F1 | Ferrari, the numbers of the 2018 season

Despite having had its best season since 2008, the Ferrari it failed to return to the top of the world in both the constructors' and drivers' championships. In 2018 the Cavallino team scored 571 points, of which 320 bear the signature of Sebastian Vettel (the German was 88 points behind Hamilton, who won the fifth world championship crown in his career) while the remaining 251 were obtained by Kimi Raikkonen, paying 84 points from the top occupied by Mercedes.

There were six victories, of which five were achieved by Vettel (Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Great Britain, Belgium) and one by Raikkonen (USA). The one taken by the Finn in Austin was particularly important, arriving after a five-year fast.

The pole positions scored were also a total of six (Vettel started from the pole in Bahrain, China, Azerbaijan, Canada, Germany; Raikkonen only in Monza) which however brought victory only on two occasions: on the Sakhir and Montreal tracks .

There were 24 podiums in total, divided equally between Vettel and Raikkonen who achieved the Top Three in the same GP only on four occasions (Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Mexico).

As far as fastest laps are concerned, Vettel set the fastest laps three times fastest lap (Great Britain, Japan, Abu Dhabi) while Raikkonen was the fastest in the race only on the Spielberg track.

Ferrari closed 2018 with two records. Having made the fastest pit stop (1"97 in the Brazilian GP) and being the only team to always qualify in Q3 with both cars.
