Ferrari, Bob Bell active since March
The 56-year-old from Belfast also joins the Reds
Talking about it started last September when Bob Bell, former Mercedes technical director, met Marco Mattiacci. According to some rumors leaked at the time, the Englishman would have been intercepted in Maranello to meet the new Team Principal. The negotiation, already started by his predecessor, Stefano Domenicali, seems to have borne fruit for him. According to colleagues from Gazzetta dello Sport, Bell has signed a contract with Ferrari and will begin working for the Prancing Horse as the season has just begun, from March 2015.
The 56-year-old from Belfast announced he was leaving Mercedes at the end of April. Even if the gardening period contract saw its conclusion at the end of September, Bob Bell will only be active from next March.
