F1 | Mercedes, Rosberg: "My contract as ambassador will expire at the end of the year, then I will be independent"

The 2016 world champion, teased by BILD on the difficulties he might have in criticizing Mercedes, of which he is currently an ambassador, he declared that he is close to a divorce with the German team: “My contract as team ambassador will expire at the end of the year, so then I will be totally independent" – said the German. “I may become a Daimler ambassador next year, but that it won't stop me from being completely neutral and to comment critically on the competitions. Niki managed to do it as a team member, I will do the same in my situation” – concluded Rosberg.
