F1 | GP Indianapolis, Penske: “I don't see Formula 1 here in the near future”

The name of Indianapolis is not currently "hot" to host one of the Formula 1 world championship rounds. The owner of the legendary Motor Speedway track, Roger Penske, admitted this, underlining the dialogues with Liberty Media which however at the moment have not gave birth to nothing.

"I don't see Formula 1 here for the foreseeable future – Penske told the Indianapolis Star – Of course if there was an opportunity for us, but we have not had any serious discussions at this time. I spoke personally with Stefano Domenicali. It's not just about getting a sponsor, but how it all fits into the total package".
