Nurburgring wants to return to F1 in 2017

Having lost the 2015 edition due to the lack of an agreement with Mister Ecclestone on the money point, the Nürburgring has ensured that it is on the right track for organizing next year's race.

“Our intention is to continue hosting F1 and in fact we are currently in the negotiation phase” – a spokesperson for the Rheinland-Pfalz circuit which famously alternates with Hockenheim told GpUpdate.

“If there was a chance to be reinstated in the calendar it would be fantastic, however a lot will depend on the economic question and the type of financial risk required” – he finally admitted.

Uncle Bernie himself had recently expressed doubts about the possibility of reaching an agreement, naming the exotic Las Vegas as the most plausible substitute.
