Formula 1 | Alonso, maximum confidence in Alpine's development work

Despite the numerous reliability problems that have emerged since the start of the season to date, Fernando Alonso has the utmost confidence in Alpine's development work for the continuation of this 2022 season.

The Spaniard, author of a brilliant performance in the last weekend in Austria, highlighted the qualities of the technicians who are currently collaborating within the team, an aspect that will almost certainly soon lead the transalpine team to battle for the top positions of the classification.

“Our plan is to get as close as possible to the top areas of the table and compared to last season we have made a good step forward in terms of performance,” said the Iberian. “The budget cap has imposed the same requirements on all teams and now it's up to us to work to complete the last step. We have an excellent team, both in Great Britain and in France, and personally I have the utmost confidence in them."
