According to the former Williams standard bearer, the eight-time world champion team has managed to react with strength and determination to the problems of W13, guaranteeing successful and above all continuous development throughout the season. A positive situation which for Russell will lead the Anglo-German team to compete for the championship in the next championship.

“Considering the development this year and the speed with which we have closed the gap with Red Bull and Ferrari, I would say that there is nothing that prohibits us from fighting for the title as early as 2023,” revealed the Mercedes Englishman. . “In Imola we had the same pace as Haas, McLaren and Alfa Romeo and thanks to the updates, presented from race to race, we managed to leave all this behind us.
