F1 | Norris on the Abu Dhabi tests: "Useful day to get to know the 2023 compounds"

115 laps for Lando Norris on the day of post-season testing which took place yesterday in Abu Dhabi. The Englishman, after the efforts of last Sunday's Grand Prix, which we remember ended with sixth position, is back on board the MCL36, offering a fundamental contribution to the team and Pirelli for the development of the compounds that will take to the track starting from the tests pre-season scheduled for next February in Bahrain.

“It was a very useful day”, said the Mercedes Englishman. “Overall it was nice to spend time developing the tires that will hit the track next year. We have collected various data on the operation that will be useful to us and for this reason I want to thank Pirelli and the team for the hard work they have done. Now we are heading towards the winter break, useful for recharging the batteries after an extremely busy season. We will do everything possible to fly to Bahrain on the right foot."
