F1 | McLaren, Norris happy with 5th time on Saturday at Le Castellet

Great satisfaction at McLaren for the 5th time achieved by Lando Norris in the qualifying session valid for the French Grand Prix, 12th round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship. The Englishman from McLaren, making the most of the update package presented by team at Paul Ricardo, managed to confirm itself in the top positions of the ranking, obtaining results that give us hope for tomorrow's race.

“I'm very happy, given that P5 is a great result for us,” said the McLaren Englishman. “The car performed very well, especially in qualifying conditions, and I feel that the whole team managed to do a great job. We extracted everything we could from the car and I'm happy about that."

“Thanks to the team and the guys at the factory for the upgrade package we are using here in France. I did my best to give everyone a perfect lap. Looking ahead to tomorrow, a long and difficult race awaits us, but we are in the right place to secure a good amount of points." he concluded.
