F1 | Verstappen closes again on Leclerc: the world rankings after the Miami GP

At the end of a race managed with precision and clarity, Max Verstappen managed to win the 25 points up for grabs in the Miami Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship, further closing the standings against Charles Leclerc.

Thanks to the victory, combined with the additional point of the fastest lap, the Dutchman will show up in Barcelona in two weeks with a 19 point advantage. A gap that keeps everything at stake and which surprises the press and professionals, given that the reigning World Champion, after Melbourne, was almost two Grands Prix away from the Ferrari driver's lead.

As for the manufacturers, the Cavallino confirms first position, but Red Bull can look to overtake starting from the next round in Catalonia. Appointment in two weeks at Montmelò for the Spanish Grand Prix, sixth round of an increasingly balanced and uncertain world championship.
