The negotiations between Liberty Media and the Circuit de Montmelò for the renewal of the contract expiring at the end of next season are proceeding quickly.

Through an in-depth analysis published this morning, El Mundo Deportivo spoke about the discussions for the confirmation of the Spanish Grand Prix within the world calendar, specifying how the Spanish organizers are ready to sign an agreement that will allow the Catalan circuit to occupy a slot until at the end of the 2026 season, effectively becoming one of the "pivotal" events of the European season.

After the many economic difficulties that have emerged in recent years, the organizers would have found the "square" of the situation also with the staff led by Stefano Domenicali, managing to guarantee Spain and Catalonia a place in Formula 1. The contracts, according to reported by the Spanish press, will be signed in the coming weeks, with an official announcement expected by the end of the year.
