Formula 1 | Aston Martin, Krack: “We are working to continue with Vettel in 2023”

Mike Krack reiterated Aston Martin's strong desire to continue with Sebastian Vettel also in 2023. Interviewed by the press during the last weekend in Montreal, the German manager did not change his point of view on the issue, specifying how the team Englishman is doing everything possible to have the four-time world champion in the team again next year. His experience, combined with the speed shown so far, would guarantee the team a "solid" driver on which to structure the development of the car for the near future.

“We have always been clear on this topic,” said Aston Team Principal mMrtin. “If he wants to continue, we would like him to stay with us. We are talking to him about this very topic and the relationship in general is very good. We don't need to give ourselves deadlines, even if we should make a decision about it sooner or later. We can't drag it out too much, given that a situation of this type would put us in difficulty and he is aware of this."
