F1 | Abu Dhabi test, Albon promotes Williams' work: "Everything went according to plan"

Moderate satisfaction for Alexander Albon at the end of the day of post-season testing in Abu Dhabi. The Thai from Williams, author of the sixth fastest time (1'25"959) and who took to the track together with his new teammate, Logan Sargeant, tested the Pirelli compounds for the 2023 season, collecting important data and indications that will be useful to the engineers to direct the development work to be carried out over the winter.

“On the post-season test day in Abu Dhabi we managed to accumulate some good mileage and everything went according to plan,” said the Thai from Williams. “We have tested the compounds of the 2023 range, which presents only small changes compared to the one used up until the Abu Dhabi GP, and now it will be important to put together all the data collected, so as to present ourselves in Bahrain with the best possible package”.
