F1 is thinking about a future in Virtual Reality

The crazy idea came to Sir Martin Sorrel, owner of the public relations company WPP.

In the near future, F1 could convert to Virtual Reality, the new frontier of interactive media.

“Fans could find themselves behind the wheel of a single-seater! It would be fantastic – he declared to the official website of the Circus – I too, armed with special headphones and glasses, had an extreme experience watching Ridley Scott's film “The Martin”. I basically started walking in space!”.

“This is a remarkable technology and will continue to be perfected in ten years' time. I honestly believe it can be introduced given that Bernie Ecclestone he is open to new things – continued the entrepreneur – However, I understand some people's skepticism. I remember when the series became the prerogative of pay TV. It was said that no one would follow it anymore but that wasn't the case, not to mention that Sky's product is decidedly better than the previous one. In my opinion it is right to look for alternative models to attract the public and generate revenue."
