F1 | Ferrari, Sainz on track at Fiorano with the proto wet tires for 2023 [VIDEO and PHOTOS]
The Spaniard lapped on asphalt in "full-wet" conditions
Morning of work for Carlos Sainz and Ferrari on the Fiorano track. On board the F1-75 used during the last 2022 Formula 1 world championship, the Spaniard carried out several test runs with the proto wet tires for the 2023 season, working closely with the Pirelli technicians.
A session already scheduled in recent weeks, especially useful for the Italian manufacturer in view of the final development to be carried out during the winter months. Sainz, who took to the track in the early hours of the morning, lapped on totally wet asphalt, collecting data and useful information on the full-wet compounds. It should be noted that the work program will also continue this afternoon, again with Sainz, and tomorrow morning with Charles Leclerc.
