Bernie Ecclestone: “I don't think we'll see women in F1 again”

With the retirement of Susie Wolff (she took part in four free practice sessions with Williams between 2014 and 2015) will we see a woman behind the wheel of an F1 car again? For Bernie Ecclestone there is no doubt. The answer given by the boss of the premier class of motorsport, during the press conference to inaugurate theAdvertising Week Europe 2016 which will be held this week in London, was negative.

“To tell you the truth, I have always felt uncomfortable talking about this topic – declared Mister E. – because I don't know if a woman is physically capable of driving a Formula 1 car fast enough. If she were also able to do it, would never be taken seriously. This is essentially the crux of the problem."
