Ecclestone supports Virgin's purchase of Honda

Bernie Ecclestone has made it clear that he supports the purchase of the former Honda Formula 1 team by the Virgin group. The company led by Richard Branson would have launched a bid, hindering the consortium led by the couple Nick Fry and Ross Brawn.
"If Virgin is interested, and from what is said they would like to keep the same management, it would be fantastic" Ecclestone told the Mirror. "I would welcome them with open arms. Branson is exactly the type of person you would want in this category. He's a wonderful guy. I met him in Monza last year and there was a good feeling" he added Ecclestone.
