F1 | Red Bull, Albon: “Once again too chaotic qualifying in Monza”

Red Bull's difficult Saturday ends with Alexander Albon finishing ninth on the grid. The Thai therefore also had a complicated qualifying, and was unable to do better than the fifth row. The RB16's set-up doesn't seem to work with the low downforce required in Monza, but the #23 hopes to do better in the race by focusing on the data collected during Friday's long run.

“Once again it was a chaotic and frenetic qualifying in Monza, and because of this it was difficult to put together a clean lap – Albon said. It's been a difficult weekend so far as a team, we're disappointed, but personally I'm happy with the car. Ninth place doesn't show how comfortable I am with the car and we are further behind than expected as a team, but we knew it would be complicated as these types of low downforce circuits are not suitable for us. The McLarens are strong on the straight and so is Racing Point: there are some corners that we don't fully digest, so we lose more time than the others, but our race pace is good and we hope to do better tomorrow, but don't expect an easy race ”.
