“Nobody wants to race like this, I don't want to race like this. It's one thing to make a mistake in FP1 and then backtrack and try to get a result in qualifying, while it's another to find yourself in this situation. It's a responsibility I take on and the meaning doesn't escape me. It's hard, really hard, but now the only thing I can do is focus on my work. I intend to leave everything behind to ensure a smooth continuation of the weekend. Morale isn't the best, obviously, but all I can do is guarantee the team the points. It's the only one I can offer Logan too."
