F1 | Kvyat promotes Imola: “It deserves to be on the calendar”

Daniil Kvyat passed the layout with flying colors Imola, underlining how the Italian track deserves to become part of the 2020 world calendar. The Russian, we remember, carried out a work session on the track in view of the Austrian Grand Prix, regaining confidence not only with the car (Kvyat hadn't been in the car for three months), but also with the team. An interesting day which served to test the "qualities" of the track which hosted the San Marino GP for several years.

“Filming in Imola was fantastic! I have known the track for quite some time, because I did one of my first tests there for Formula BMW in 2010 and a Formula Renault Alps race in 2012, it was a pleasure to return there with the team for the filming day", the Russian said. “Imola is a really great track, with lots of fast corners and I think it really deserves to return to the F1 calendar. It was a special feeling to be able to get back behind the wheel after a long break, I really enjoyed it."
