F1 | Gasly on the filming day in Imola: “We are ready for Austria”
"Imola is one of my favorite tracks," said the Frenchman
Satisfaction for Pierre Gasly at the end of the filming day held by Scuderia AlphaTauri on the circuit Imola. After three months of inactivity due to the emergency Coronavirus, the Frenchman is back behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, regaining confidence with the team in view of the Austrian GP, inaugural round of the next 2020 F1 World Championship.
“I'm really happy to be back on track after such a long wait, I really missed the pleasure of driving,” said the Frenchman at the end of the day. “It was great to be able to do this with the STR13 and the AT01. We had a quiet day and did some laps with both cars. I woke up happy and excited and went to sleep the same way. Imola It's one of my favorite tracks and it was nice to be able to drive around in an F1. I think we are ready for Austria."
