F1 | Haas, Hulkenberg betrayed by Ferrari engine reliability

Complicated Friday at home Haas, which concludes FP2 with just one car on the track. Kevin Magnussen manages to complete the program scheduled for free practice, while Nico Hulkenberg he is forced to return to the pits after the first run. Its engine is now out of order Ferrari, a breakdown that compromised his Friday and perhaps his weekend.

“It was a fragmented day, first in FP1, where I had only done one lap, and then due to the technical problems. FP2 didn't last long, after the first run the engine gave out. It's not ideal for the weekend, but that's how it went. We will see the performance of the other car, we will try to learn from that and prepare the best possible set-up for qualifying."

Twelfth time, however, for Kevin Magnussen, who instead seems to be satisfied with the work carried out, despite the various interruptions and the particular conditions of the track.

“There were several interruptions today, in FP1 obviously and then also in FP2, due to the weather and Nico's car, but we still managed to do our job. We ran at both high and low fuel loads with both compounds and, despite the interruptions, we got what we wanted. There's still one session left, it looks like there will be rain, it will be an exciting qualifying."
