Test in Jerez: Glock still in the lead with Toyota

Best time for Timo Glock also on the third day of testing in Jerez. The German from Toyota lapped in 1.19.814. “It was a productive day,” commented Glock. “This morning we were still a bit unlucky with the conditions which made the race simulation a bit difficult. But it was useful to understand when to mount the slicks, our pace wasn't bad."

“Then we ran in the dry for the rest of the day. We didn't work much on the set-up and then did some shorter runs to complete the programme. We covered a lot of kilometers in these two days and made good progress."

Felipe Massa returned to work with Ferrari after missing yesterday due to rain. The Brazilian completed 134 laps obtaining the second fastest time of the day, more than four tenths behind Glock.

Fernando Alonso with Renault was the most active today with 152 laps at the wheel of the R29. Third time for the Spaniard, ahead of Heikki Kovalainen's McLaren.

Adrian Sutil with the new Force India VJM02 is fifth ahead of Mark Webber's Red Bull Racing RB5 and Robert Kubica's BMW Sauber. Eighth time for Nico Rosberg's Williams.
