Schumacher: “Ferrari can improve quickly”

Michael Schumacher is convinced that Ferrari will be able to resolve its current competitiveness problems quickly. The German, who won five of his seven world championships with the Maranello team between 2000 and 2004, said Mercedes' recovery in the 2011 Formula 1 season is proof that the Italian team is not too far behind.
“I'm not convinced that their problems are as serious as they seem,” Schumacher said.
“And just as we took a step forward after Malaysia, they too can do the same. They have the skill and the people to do it,” said the 42-year-old.
According to Schumacher, the fact that the Cavallino has not won any title since 2007 "is an exception" and not the start of a new negative trend.
