F1 | Sensational: Adrian Newey close to leaving Red Bull. Ferrari on pole?

A sensational indiscretion comes from Germany which could shake up the next few hours formula 1. According to Auto Motor und Sport, Adrian Newey he would be close to leaving RedBull. The British genius, fed up with the struggles within the Milton Keynes team which affected the very first part of the season, would like to free himself by the end of this championship so as to have time to concentrate on the new single-seaters that we will have on the grid from 2026, and he will do it with a new team. According to the Germans, the Ferrari seems to be in pole position for the acquisition of the 65-year-old designer, who has been with Red Bull since 2006.

Newey's contract with Red Bull expires at the end of 2025, but he is reportedly pushing to be released a year earlier.
