Toro Rosso: Kvyat, “We have made further progress”
The Russian driver's comment after the first day of testing in Bahrain
After a break of just four days, the ToroRosso team resumed testing at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain. This four-day test offers the final chance for all Formula 1 teams to test their 2014 cars, before the first race of the season, in Melbourne on 16 March.
Daniil Kvyat: “It was nice to be in the car, even if we didn't have the chance to do all the program we had planned for today. However, I think we have made some progress. We ran on the hard Pirelli tires most of the time, not chasing performance. I hope Jean Eric gets a full day of riding tomorrow before I drive again on Saturday.”
