Hamilton ends hostilities with Felipe Massa with a hug

Lewis Hamilton put an end to the hostilities we had Felipe Massa immediately embracing the latter after the Brazilian GP. The Englishman was involved in many duels with Massa over the course of the season which often led to collisions such as Monaco, Silverstone, Singapore, Suzuka and India.

The two had also had an argument off the track Singapore during the post-race interviews, with Massa declaring that the Englishman had snubbed him while Hamilton reiterated that there was no need for clarification.

Ma Hamilton yesterday he tried to put a stop to these differences that arose during the season, visiting Massa while the latter spoke to Brazilian journalists.

In that regard Sponge he said: “I never had anything against him. I have always respected him even this year after everything that happened."

“I think it's nice to see him take the first step because he's never come before and because I personally haven't done anything wrong this year.”

While Hamilton's words were: “It has been a difficult year for all the drivers and I hope for them that they can have a good winter. It was nice to have a quiet chat with Felipe after the race. I have a lot of respect for him and I can't wait to race with him again next year."

Also the Ferrari team principal Stefano domenicali expressed his opinion on Hamilton's gesture.

“I'm happy to have seen Hamilton come here to hug Felipe.” explains Domenicali “It was a nice gesture and I'm happy that the two clarified. I'm really happy".
