F1 | Vasseur, goal of points scoring for Alfa Romeo in France

Alfa Romeo is looking for important points in the next French Grand Prix, the eighth round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. Interviewed by the team's official website, the Team Principal outlined the objectives for next weekend in Le Castellet, specifying how the hope and to "close" a clean weekend, without hitches or technical problems. After the points scored in Monaco and Baku, the Italian-Swiss team is confident of confirming itself within the top 10, thus gaining important points over Haas and Williams.

“We fly to France with the determination to continue scoring points after the away games in Munich and Baku,” Vasseur said. “We are starting to reap the results of our work, although we know there is still potential to be extracted from the car. In France it will be important to have a problem-free weekend to achieve our objectives. In Baku, a "lively" qualifying session masked our real performances, so in Le Castellet we will try to really demonstrate what we can do."
