After hosting two wheels last week in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain is once again at the center of the motoring world on the occasion of the fifth Formula 1 Grand Prix of the season, deferred and free-to-air only on TV8. The four-wheel circus moves, in fact, to the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit, with world champion Lewis Hamilton new leader of the drivers' standings, thanks to the daring success two weeks ago in Baku, Azerbaijan.

On Saturday 12 May, at 18.15 pm, the Formula 1 studio, conducted by Davide Camicioli with former drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Ivan Capelli, as well as the engineer Giancarlo Bruno, anticipates the postponed official qualifying, at 19.45 pm, which defines the line-up of start of the race. On Sunday 13 May, however, the appointment is set for 19.00 pm with the Formula 1 studio, which previews the themes of the Grand Prix, postponed to 20.00 pm. At the end of the race, at 22.00 pm, all the hot interviews with the drivers, team managers and professionals to delve deeper and comment on the dynamics of the race.

The Spanish Grand Prix, which only entered the world calendar in 1991, includes 66 laps (each measuring 4,655 km), for a total distance of 307,104 km. The best lap time was achieved by Kimi Raikonnen, in 2008, with the time of 1'21''670. Lewis Hamilton won here last year, starting from pole position, ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.
