The German chasing victory a year after his last triumph

F1 | Spa 2018, Sebastian Vettel's last victory

The attack on Hamilton at the start, the overtaking on the straight Kemmel and a race that ended with the Ferrari flag waving in the sky. A year has passed since Sebastian Vettel's last victory, triumphant on the Spa circuit at the end of a spirited race, to say the least. It seemed like a fundamental stage for winning the title but instead from then on the German had eight races without victories, with only four podiums.

Too few for the Rossa's world championship ambitions, which were also reaffirmed for 2019, during which, however, the victories have not yet returned to Vettel's face. In the 12 Grands Prix contested so far the German has achieved six podiums: three second places (Monaco, Canada, Germany) and three third places (China, Azerbaijan, Hungary). For a total therefore of twenty unsuccessful races, practically a World Cup.

Last year Spa gave Vettel his fifty-second victory in Formula 1 and his thirteenth with Ferrari. Spa returns to the path of the four-time world champion, who hopes to wave that red flag again and make his fans rejoice.
