F1 | Renault, Sainz looks at the French GP with optimism: "We are happy with our development"

In the classic preview released this morning on Renault's official website, Carlos Sainz spoke about the next French Grand Prix, underlining how the good performances shown in Montreal give the transalpine team hope for the race at Ricard.

The French circuit, in fact, has very similar characteristics to Canada, with long straights that reward top speed, which is why the Spaniard expects an extremely competitive RS18.

Here are the words of Carlos Sainz: “We achieved a great result in Canada and we are happy about it. It is important to continue developing the car at this pace. Everything we bring to the track gives excellent results and makes the RS18 ever faster. The Paul Ricard circuit has characteristics rather close to those of Montreal, with two long straights that reward maximum speed. We would be very happy if our performances were confirmed there too."
