F1 | Red Bull, Marko perplexed: “2021 regulations? Many beautiful words, but we still have nothing in our hands"

Red Bull has joined the concerns of Ferrari and Mercedes regarding the regulations being studied for the 2021 season. According to what reported by Helmut Marko, in fact, the Austrian Scuderia is highly perplexed by the relaunch plan strongly supported by Chase Carey and Ross Brawn, underlining how the many words released in recent months have not been confirmed by facts and maneuvers.

The teams, at the moment, do not have a regulatory base on which to work and this creates nervousness, especially for the small teams who, due to their economic situations, have very specific deadlines to respect. A complex situation in which Dietrich Mateschitz wants to see clearly.

Here are Marko's words: “At the beginning of April they said we would know within four weeks what the regulations would be for 2021. Then they said 'at the end of May'. It is now the end of June. Up to now we have only received declarations and it is also about time that we were given concrete information and rules." Marko added.

“I think they and Ross Brawn want to make everyone happy, but it won't work”, he added. “Take MotoGP: it's not an entire body that decides, but a single man. The result is that between six and eight drivers can win. That's the direction we should take. A dominant team is of no use to anyone and as a team we ask that there are fair rules for everyone."
