F1 | Mercedes, Hamilton: “Complicated day due to the wind, but overall positive”

Apparently a problematic day for Lewis Hamilton, who in Barcelona took pay from Valtteri Bottas, currently much faster than the current English champion. For #44, however, nothing so drastic, given that the updates brought to Montmelò satisfied the Brit at first glance, underlining however that there is still work to be done to fully understand all the new components.

“Today there was a lot of wind and it was complicated in terms of grip on the three tire compounds – Hamilton said. However, we concluded our program and acquired a lot of data to analyze in the evening to perfect the car for tomorrow. It's difficult to bring a new package here and it took enormous effort, but everything seems to be working. Of course, it's difficult to say with certainty because this track is too different to Baku and we still have to work to improve the balance of the car, but it was still a positive day."
