F1 | GP Baku, Gasly stopped by the broken axle shaft of his Red Bull

A chiaroscuro weekend for Pierre Gasly. The Frenchman finally found a good feeling with the Red Bull, but was forced to start from the pit lane due to a penalty. The comeback was not complicated and he easily reached sixth position, but the broken axle shaft forced him to retire.

“This weekend was better than the first three races – Gasly said. I felt better in the car and was able to drive more in the way that suited me. In qualifying I managed to show some good performances with the best lap of Q1, while in the race, starting from the pits we knew it would be difficult to fight for the top positions, but we had a fast car to get back into the top ten. I got up to sixth place, but a semi-shaft failure didn't allow us to continue the race. I'm adapting and we're going in the right direction, the car is a bit more predictable and I've also changed my approach. I still need to work, but every weekend I improve, and together with the team we are going in the right direction."
