On track at Silverstone for the first day of testing with the test driver Alex lynn Williams dedicated itself to working on aerodynamics, mechanical set-up and innovations for the rest of the championship.
“In the morning I collected a lot of data and covered a good mileage on medium tires – the Englishman's words, 3rd with a time of 1'34″433 and 54 laps completed – Unfortunately due to the bad weather I wasn't able to mount the softs . It would have been nice since in fast corners the FW38 was quite good. In any case, apart from the rain, they were two positive sessions."
On Wednesday the steering wheel will pass to Valtteri Bottas.
