Formula 1 | Toro Rosso and Red Bull, the Honda RA619H unit started for the first time [VIDEO]

In a video published yesterday evening, Toro Rosso revealed the sound of the Honda RA619H power unit, a unit that the Red Bull family will use during the next Formula 1 world championship.

After the fires of Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault, the Scuderia di Faenza has closed the search regarding the fires, completing the fire-up that we will see on the track already in the next tests in Barcelona.

As underlined several times, Honda will supply its power unit to Toro Rosso (confirmed after the last championship) and Red Bull, with the latter having strong confidence in the Japanese potential, especially after the recent failure of the pairing with Renault.

The objective, precisely in this sense, will be to succeed where McLaren has failed miserably, that is, in creating a power unit capable of competing on equal terms with Mercedes and Ferrari, the reference engine manufacturers for about two seasons. Toro Rosso, we remember, will unveil the new car on February 11th at 14.30 pm, while for Red Bull we will have to wait until February 13th, given that Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly will take the RB15 to the track for a filming day on that very day.
