Force India: Graining problems in Monaco
Adrian Sutil, P1 – 1:19.600, POS 18; P2 – 1:16.675, POS 13
“It was a good day of free practice. The track was very slippery in the morning and so it took some time before I was able to push for a good time. The car worked well with good downforce, although the biggest problem we have now is graining on the rear tyres. Both compounds have this problem and this also compromises the balance of the car. I am confident we will find a solution for the qualifications. The “extra” day will help us.”
Giancarlo Fisichella, P1 – 1:19.534, POS 15; P2 – 1:17.504, POS 19
“It wasn't a good start to the weekend. We used the morning session to check the set-up and balance. In the afternoon we completed a series of long runs with the track having a little more rubber. Adrian had graining problems and in the last laps I also felt the same problem with the car becoming unbalanced even on the straight.”
