Force India half satisfied in China

Paul di Resta has concluded the Chinese GP in eighth position. A result that still leaves a bit of a bad taste in the driver's mouth Force India, convinced of the potential of a car that on the track, even today, demonstrated its ability to have a good race pace.

“In the end I got a good result and made a good recovery after a difficult start to the race
– declared di Resta -. I was fighting with Nico (Hulkenberg) on the first lap, but unfortunately there was a contact with Adrian (Sutil) at the start and I ended up on the grass losing a few places. Then I got stuck in traffic and I couldn't do much with the tires."

“Slowly the car started to go, I pushed all the way but I also thank the pit crew who did an excellent job. The guys held their nerve and in the end I managed to keep both Grosjean and Hulkenberg behind. We could have done even better, but for now it's still good as it is; we gained points and our race pace was valid”he concluded.

Disappointment, however, for Adrian Sutil, forced to retire for the second time after being hit by Esteban Gutierrez. Unlucky and blameless, he returned to the pits without finishing the race: “The day was very disappointing for me, they were going well in the first laps and then what happened happened. I think Gutierrez couldn't stop and hit the back of my car. My rear wing broke and there was no choice but to stop. You know, it's always a shame not to finish a race and today I also had the chance to score more points. I felt good with the tires and the strategy seemed to work well."
