F1 | Virtual GP, FDA chooses Arthur Leclerc and Dino Beganovic for the Interlagos race

Third and final appointment, this weekend, with the Virtual GP, the mini-championship in which Esports sim drivers and professional drivers compete virtually and for charity on the World Championship tracks on the platform offered by the F1 2020 game. The FDA Esports Team for the decisive round features the two starting sim drivers Davide Tonizza and Brendon Leigh on the Brazilian circuit of Interlagos, as well as the guys from FDA Dino Beganovic and Arthur Leclerc. A total prize pool of $100.000 is up for grabs, which the nine participating teams will donate to charity based on their final placing. Ferrari will donate its prize to Save the Children.

The race. The Sao Paulo race will take place with the same format as the first two, held on the Spielberg and Silverstone tracks. The two professional sim drivers, David Tonizza and Brendon Leigh, who together have three world titles in the F1 Esports championships, will be protagonists of the qualifying with one single lap and then of the 5-lap Sprint Race, the ranking of which will define the Feature Race grid. Tonizza's placing will be associated with that of Beganovic, while Leclerc will start from the position conquered by Leigh. For Arthur, busy all week in the Kick Off Camp which opens the annual activities of the Ferrari Academy, Sunday's will be the second Virtual race of the season. In fact, he has already been a protagonist in Austria, where he achieved a podium. Dino, fresh from the F3 Asian Series and also involved in Maranello in the Camp, in the virtual races boasts a ninth place in last year's Bahrain GP.

The ranking. The mini championship sees the FDA Esports Team on the eve of the decisive round with 42 points, in second place in the standings behind Haas who is on 57.

The program. The appointment with the Interlagos race is therefore scheduled for Sunday afternoon live on the FDA Facebook channel, as well as on the Formula 1 Facebook, YouTube and Twitch channels. The streaming will begin at 19pm CET and will last approximately 90 minutes. The Sprint Race is scheduled for 19.10pm, while the Feature Race will start at 19.30pm.
