F1 | Toro Rosso, Albon makes the numbering official for the 2019 season
The Englishman chose #23
While waiting to see him in action with the future STR14 during the pre-season tests in Barcelona, Alexander Albon confirmed the numbering with which he will face the next Formula 1 world championship.
The Englishman, in fact, would have finally communicated his decision to the International Federation, opting for #23, the age with which he will face the 2019 world championship.
A choice that is not an absolute novelty in the world of sport, given that this numbering has been carried on the shoulders of figures of the caliber of David Beckham, LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
The former Dams standard-bearer, we remember, has taken the place of the disappointing Brendon Hartley and will join Daniil Kvyat within the Scuderia Toro Rosso Honda, creating a brand new line-up on which Helmut Marko is strongly banking for the future.
