F1 | Sauber, Giovinazzi: “I'll do my best”

After his unexpected debut in Formula One in the last Australian Grand Prix, where he achieved an excellent 12th place, Antonio Giovinazzi's dream will also continue in Shanghai, home of the Chinese Grand Prix and second round of the 2017 World Championship.

In press conference on Thursday the driver from Martina Franca, called to replace the convalescent Pascal Wehrlein at Sauber, relived the call-up he received in Melbourne where he had arrived as the third Ferrari driver.

"It was a fantastic experience to have my first weekend in F1  – said Giovinazzi – I have achieved the goal I have had since I was a child. The Melbourne experience will help me. Here it will be a different race weekend, the weather conditions could be different, with the track potentially wet due to rain. As always I will do my best and I hope that the result I achieve can be as good as the one in Melbourne".
