F1 | Red Bull, Horner praises the mechanics for the Silverstone pit stop: “We are really proud of them”
The pit team changed Gasly's tires in 1.91 seconds, the fastest stop in Formula 1 history
In the last British Grand Prix, Red Bull set the record for the fastest pit stop ever in Formula 1: 1.91 seconds, an impressive speed for the men of the Austrian team, who in recent years have always been at the top in terms of the pit stops, as well as on the twelfth lap of the Silverstone race, when Pierre Gasly didn't even have time to stop his car as the mechanics had already largely finished their work.
“It's a magnificent result from the team at the pit stop, it's something we're all very proud of – said Chris Horner, Red Bull team principal. They train with incredible dedication and a huge amount of physical effort. It's wonderful to see our team achieve this kind of record again: the competition is very fierce and the technological progress is relentless, but these guys work together as a team and perform at the highest level with very high pressure."
