F1 | Red Bull, Gasly: ​​“I would have liked to race on the old Hockenheimring”

Pierre Gasly drove a good race at Silverstone, finishing in fourth place after a good fight with the two Ferraris. The French driver has thus responded to all the criticisms of recent months, due to a performance certainly not up to the level of Red Bull, but not even of his talent, and the British race could give him the push he has been looking for since his arrival in the Austrian team ”.

“I'm excited for the German Grand Prix, especially after an intense weekend like the one at Silverstone, I want to continue this positive trend – Gasly admitted. I got back in the car on Tuesday for the Pirelli tests, so now I'm taking a few days of rest, after which I'll go back to training for Hockenheim: the German one is a circuit that I like, but it would have been nice to race on the old Hockenheimring, it was much nicer of this. But apart from that, it's still an exciting circuit, and last year the racing was very eventful. The last part of the circuit is the one I like the most. Here the fire extinguisher exploded in my face during the 2016 race in GP2, I hope it doesn't happen again."
