F1 | Massa: “Ricciardo and Mick Schumacher in the same situation as me when I finished with Ferrari”

The Australian, clearly more experienced, has never convinced McLaren, apart from the victory at Monza, and the internal duel with Norris is merciless. Mick was unable to obtain the desired results, despite his evident growth during the last season in Haas, but between sub-optimal strategies, a race pace that was not always up to par and many serious accidents meant that the US team preferred a rider who hasn't been there for years, but still expert, like Hulkenberg. Felipe Massa, former Ferrari, was asked on the subject.

They are both in the same situation that I was in when I finished with Ferrari, and until I had the opportunity to sign with Williams, I didn't know whether I would stay in the Circus or not, and it's the same for them, I'm in that position. The result in this sport is the most important thing, for McLaren it was important that Ricciardo got them, and it was the same for Mick too: you had to concentrate on your job and have good management of the people who work for you."
