F1 | Marko reveals: “Ricciardo will do a Pirelli test soon”

In a chat given to the columns of Sport1, Helmut Marko he admitted that soon Daniel Ricciardo will make its debut on the track with a Red Bull-branded car.

According to what was declared by the Austrian manager, the Australian should soon board the 2022 car for a Pirelli test, which will serve the team not only to regain confidence with the methodologies inside the garage (Red Bull, like all the others team, has not faced a race weekend since late November), but also to the former McLaren representative himself, who will be called upon to quickly readapt to the characteristics of a single-seater designed and designed by Adrian Newey.

Ricciardo, we remember, will occupy the role of third driver in Milton Keynes and will work closely with the officials for the simulator activities.

“Ricciardo has settled in very well and has already attended public relations events with Red Bull,” said the Austrian consultant of the World Champion team. “That's one of the reasons we brought it back. From a distance it is difficult to judge what he lacks to return to his classic riding level.
