Through an official note published this morning, Alfa Romeo Racing announced the appointment of Alessandro Good students as the new Team Principal of the Italian-Swiss team. The Italian Manager, already "Managing Director" of the Sauber Group since 2017, will occupy the control bar on the wall for all 23 events of the 2023 world championship and will answer for his work to the new CEO, Andreas Seidl, recently taken away by surprise from McLaren.

Alunni Bravi, in addition to the roles already occupied, will collaborate closely with the technical and operational departments of the team with the aim of continuing the growth path started last year under the guidance of the former TP, Frederic Vasseur, who moved to mid December at the Ferrari court.

This is the official press release

“The Alfa Romeo F1 Team has appointed Alessandro Alunni Bravi, in his capacity as CEO of the Sauber Group, to the additional position of Team Representative for the FIA Formula One World Championship. The experienced Italian, who has been part of the Sauber Group since 2017, will add this role to his name for the 2023 season and beyond, representing the team at all official functions on race weekends and off-track.

The appointment of Alunni Bravi represents one of the first tasks carried out by the new CEO of the Sauber Group, Andreas Seidl, after starting his role at the Swiss company on January 9th. The decision will see Alunni Bravi, in his additional role, collaborate with the technical and operational departments to continue the growth and success of the team, whilst providing the team's internal and external stakeholders with the value that the Alfa Romeo F1 Team is known for to produce.

Alunni Bravi's assumption of the role of Team Representative will mark a decisive step forward for the Alfa Romeo F1 Team and for the Sauber Group as a whole, allowing Andreas Seidl to focus on his objective of further growth of the Sauber Group, ensuring short-term success and prepare the team for its exciting future.”
