F1 | Marko: “In Red Bull there are issues to clarify with Mateschitz's death”
"Nothing changes for our team. We are preparing to win the remaining races", underlined the Austrian
At Red Bull, the last few weeks have certainly not been easy. But not for the results achieved on the track, where the Anglo-Austrian team continues to dominate with Max Verstappen, piling up victories even after the mathematical conquest of the title, but for what happened externally with the situations regarding the budget cap and the death of owner and founder Dietrich Mateschitz.
Helmut Marko focused on this last aspect, with the historic Austrian consultant working for Red Bull admitting that there could be some changes. However, these will not concern the team, focused on concluding the season in the best possible way.
"A lot is happening at a strategic and political level at Red Bull – said Marko – There are issues to be clarified within the club in relation to the death of Dietrich Mateschitz, but this should not affect the sporting component. Nothing has changed for the team. We are preparing to win the remaining two races and, judging by the speed and reliability we have shown recently, we have a good chance".
