Magnussen started from twelfth position on the grid on a set of soft tires but managed to finish the Baku GP in 13th place.
“It was a difficult day today. Obviously it's not the result we were hoping for. We will work hard for Barcelona and move forward, at least we have some data from that circuit obtained during testing, even if the temperatures will be very different. We didn't expect this kind of start to the season, but all we can do is keep working to solve our problems – keep looking for a solution,” he commented briefly on the official Haas F1 Team website explaining his discontent with the performance of Today.
