Formula 1 will only see twenty cars on the grid in 2017

F1 | The Manor has permanently ceased operations

The Manor closes its doors permanently. The team owned by Stephen Fitzpatrick, already in receivership for weeks, has not found investors ready to save it at the last minute and therefore will not participate in the 1 F2017 world championship. Rumors have spread in recent days about a probable rescue of the team. A coup de tail which however did not happen.

Formula 1 therefore returns to ten teams on the grid, after the FRP company which has been managing the team in recent weeks has issued a press release in which it explained that the searches for new investors have not had a positive outcome and that the team from Friday 27 January effectively ceased all activity.
